If you’re looking for a hotel in Dubai that’s equal parts luxury and lifestyle, W Mina Seyahi is it. It’s giving stylish, grown-up, and effortlessly cool - the kind of place where you can sip cocktails by the pool, hit the gym without compromising your routine, and dance the night away at a rooftop with DJ sets until 2 AM. It’s one of three Mina Seyahi properties, and each one has its own vibe: W Dubai – Mina Seyahi is all about lifestyle and music, perfect for adults; The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina is more family-focused; and Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark caters to the business crowd. If you’re after a chic, adults-only escape with a little edge then W Mina Seyahi is the one.
The pool at The W is well designed but on the smaller side, so if you’re a late riser and don’t get into the sun until early afternoon you may struggle accessing a bed. But what really makes it stand out are the little wellness touches. They come around with wellness shots throughout the day like charcoal & turmeric shots, but then everyone is sipping margaritas so its the perfect balance!
Come breakfast time… W Dubai takes it seriously. We’re talking wellness stations, avocado stations, sweet treats, à la carte options, English and Arabian classics, and even a Bloody Mary station, so whether you’re on a health journey or holiday mode only, they cater for everyone! It’s one of the most varied and high-quality breakfasts I’ve had in Dubai, and sitting poolside at their renowned restaurant Ginger Moon while you eat just makes it even better.
The design at W Mina Seyahi is stunning. It’s not overly modern or old but instead, it has this unique African-inspired decor that feels stylish but warm. So much attention to detail, from the textured walls to the curated art pieces. The rooms are compact but laid out really well, and the balcony is surprisingly spacious with gorgeous views over JBR and the harbor. W knows how to make a space feel luxurious without trying too hard.
The rooftop at The W is where the hotel really leans into its lifestyle identity. It’s open until 2 AM, with great DJs and delicious Asian-style tapas… perfect for a late-night bite and a cocktail (or three). And if you’re staying at W, you also get access to 18 restaurants across all three Mina Seyahi hotels (Westin, W, and Le Méridien). That means you can keep it casual, go full fine dining, or just have cocktails, whatever fits your vibe. If you’re considering the all-inclusive option, it’s 100% worth it just for the variety.
The gym at W Mina Seyahi is one of the most modern I’ve seen in Dubai. State-of-the-art equipment, sleek design, and enough space that you’re not working out on top of someone else so it’s perfects for keeping up with your routine without feeling like you’re in a hotel gym. I use David Lloyd when in the UK, and this was on par which is hard to do, especially as a hotel with limited space.
The Standout Amenities & Service: This is where W really won me over. They left me a matcha DIY kit in my room (they clearly knew me well) and some Polaroids of me in Dubai — such a personal touch that made me feel like more than just a guest. The in-room amenities were on point too: a cocktail bar, face wash, and all the essentials you’d actually want (none of those weird mini toiletries you never use).
W Mina Seyahi is perfect for couples & groups. It’s all about the music, nightlife, and stylish vibes without sacrificing comfort or luxury & still having a strong focus on wellness because its 2025 and we really can do both! If you’re traveling as a family, The Westin is probably a better fit, and if you’re in Dubai for work, Le Méridien makes more sense. But if you’re here for the lifestyle — think cocktails, music, wellness, and a little bit of indulgence — W Mina Seyahi nails it.
