So, finally, Boris has decided to ease up the travel rules to enter back into the UK after being abroad... and it's a benefit for everyone! Not just those who are vaccinated. With the new rules coming into play on 11th Feb, this should mean easier travel, less payouts on testing and stress-free holidays for all!
For Vaccinated Travellers
- You will no longer need to take a pre-departure test when leaving your destination to arrive back into the UK
- You will no longer need to take a day 2 test
- You will no longer need to quarantine (quarantine is currently in place until day 2 results are received)
For Unvaccinated Travellers
- You still need to take a pre-departure test to arrive back into the UK, this is to be taken within 2 days before arriving.
- Book a PCR test to be taken when you arrive in the UK, this needs to be booked before departure.
- You will no longer need to quarantine, unless results are positive.
ALL passengers need to complete a locator form!
Please note, regulations can differ depending on the country you are visiting, and when in another country you MUST follow their current rules.
