Situated in the peaceful town of El Toro, overlooking the chic Port Adriano marina, this adults-only hotel definitely captures the charm of Mallorca. As soon as you arrive, the panoramic views of the waves and yachts moored in the harbour set the tone for a wonderful stay.
Pure Salt Hotel is positioned on the southwest coast of Mallorca, just a short drive from Palma, the island’s vibrant capital. The area is known for its exclusive marina, designed by the renowned Philippe Starck. I could feel the calmness set in as I walked through the hotel’s entrance and was warmly greeted by the staff, who were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Always smiling, they instantly made me feel at home.
The overall feel of the hotel is luxury and relaxation, perfect for couples seeking a peaceful getaway. The clientele tended to be slightly older, which contributed to the tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for unwinding. The room I stayed in had a large, private balcony that overlooked both the ocean and the pool, a perfect place to sunbathe and relax privately. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I spent many evenings enjoying the view as the sun set over Port Adriano, a truly breathtaking sight.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight. The variety of food options available was wonderful, catering to all tastes. I particularly enjoyed the freshly made crepes with honey and lemon and macchiato to start my day. From fresh pastries to a full continental selection, there was something for everyone. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service, which I found handy for trips down to the nearby beach. This service was a nice touch, making it easy to explore the area without hassle.
While the experience was mostly great, there were a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. On arrival, I noticed that my room wasn’t as clean as expected. Unfortunately, the cleanliness didn’t improve much on the following day, either, which was a bit disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, while the hotel maintains a luxurious feel, some areas, particularly lrly the décor, could benefit from a modern update. A slight refurbishment would really elevate the experience further.
Overall, my stay at Pure Salt Hotel Port Adriano was a wonderful relaxing escape. The attentive service, serene environment, and stunning views make this hotel a standout for anyone looking to experience the quieter side of Mallorca. Despite a few minor issues, the luxurious feel and the beauty of the location make it well worth considering for your next trip.
